Karen L. Morton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Karen Lynn Morton (née Klabbatz) passed away at the age of 64 on Thursday, July 28, 2022 after a short but sadly aggressive battle with Cancer. She died peacefully in her sleep, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Trenton in 1958 to Chester and Irma. She graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1976, and went on to get a degree in Horticulture and Floral Culture from Bucks County Technical School. She was also a member of Eastern Star. She then made a home for herself and her family in Bordentown for 43 years. She had a successful career as a School Aide and Crossing Guard with Clara Barton Elementary School. She found pure joy in being with the children at school, a job she loved. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, sister, and father. During her life she fell in love with having a large family and enjoyed spending time with them. Although she is gone, she will forever be loved in the hearts of those who loved her. She is pre-deceased by her mother Irma Joyce Klabbatz (née Werts) and her father Chester George Klabbatz. She leaves behind her devoted Husband of 43 years, Timothy J. Morton. Her sister Leslie D. Klabbatz, MD. Her five children and their spouses, Timothy W. (Christina), Jennifer, Patricia (Ellery Perfect), Jeffrey (Amanda), David (Alyssa Conroy). Her eight grandchildren, Amy, Katherine (Herbert DuBell jr.), Morgan, Molly, Michael, Christopher, Joseph, and Emma, and one great grandchild Kylie, whom were the light of her life. A visitation will be held on the 6th of August at 12:00pm until 4:00pm, at the Huber Moore Funeral Home, for family and friends to pay their respects and give their last goodbye. Even though Karen lost her battle with Cancer does not mean we will stop the fight, memorial donations in her memory can be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital for Cancer, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
