Joseph Francis Gryczko Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joseph Francis Gryczko, Sr., 89, of Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2022, at the Medford Care Center, Medford, NJ. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Joe resided in Maywood, NJ, most of his life before moving to Southampton 20 years ago. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War. Joe was retired from the Paramus Board of Education in Paramus, NJ. He enjoyed spending time with his family, collecting stamps, electronics, music, camping and taxidermy. Father of the late, Joan Shepherd (James); brother of the late, Nancy Suchowski; he is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joan Gryczko (nee Bauer); two sons, Joseph F. Gryczko, Jr. (Elena), and James Gryczko (Eydie); his brother, Stanley Gryczko (Martha); four grandchildren, Delia, James, Jessica and Elena; one great grandson, Calvin; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11AM, at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph's memory to the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ 08088. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
