Ida J Anderson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ida J Anderson , 85, of Shamong, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at home. Ida was born and raised in Camden, NJ living most of her life in Shamong and briefly in Ivanhoe, VA. She was the owner of Jack's Alignment Service of Shamong Township with her late husband Jack Anderson, Sr. She was also the owner of Interyacht Design, designing interiors for Egg Harbor and Viking Yachts. She was an activist for citizens rights and was the founder of Aspire, an organization for property rights. She was a Girl Scouts troop leader and organizer of the 4-H Club, she enjoyed nature, farm life, horses, boating and traveling. Ida was a former member of The Church of the Holy Eucharist . Tabernacle, NJ. Wife of the late Jack Anderson, Sr., and mother of the late Jack Anderson, Jr., she is survived by her 2 daughters, Theresa Anderson Nason (Andrew) of Southampton, NJ, and Cheryl A. Anderson of Ivanhoe, VA. 4 grandchildren, Bill Anderson, Christina Buckalew, Lexi Nason and Joseph Nason, and a great granddaughter Ida Mae Buckalew. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, July 27th, from 6-8 PM at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N Main St., Medford, NJ. and again on Thursday, July 28th, from 10 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ
