Frank H. Kirby Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frank H. Kirby, age 77, of Mansfield Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Frank was born in Mount Holly, NJ and raised in Columbus, NJ where he graduated from Northern Burlington Regional High School "Class of 63". Frank grew up on the family dairy farm, Wayside Farm, and continued to work at local farm stands well into adulthood. He received his Bachelor's degree from Rider College in Business Administration and was an elementary and middle-school teacher at Pemberton Township School District where he retired after 33 years of service in 2003. While at Pemberton Township, he met his loving wife Joanne and many life-long friends. Upon his retirement, he focused on his hobbies of antiquing, auctions, traveling, perfecting his macaroni and cheese recipe, and enjoying wine with plenty of ice. Frank had an infectious laugh and was known for his uncanny ability to remember all special dates and anniversaries of friends and family. Frank was a parishioner at St Mary Mother of the Church Parish in Bordentown and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Bordentown Council 570. Son of the late Benjamin Roger and Edith Kirby, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years Joanne. Frank is survived by his two daughters: Kristen Kirby of Phoenixville, PA and Laura Kirby of Mansfield Township, NJ, his twin brother Roger Kirby and sister-in-law Claire Kirby, his brother Alfred Kirby, sister-in-law Karen Kuria Gimbel, as well as nieces Carrie Gimbel and Jen Baker, nephew Brian Kirby, grand nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends that have become family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6-8 PM, and on Wednesday, June 22nd from 9:00 to 10:15 AM at Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ 08505. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bordentown, NJ.
