Edward D. Davis

Edward D. Davis, 84, of the LeisureTowne section of Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Ed resided in Marlton and Shamong, NJ, before moving to Southampton. He loved to work, and he was the owner of the Shoe Horn in Marlton, Blackwood, Ewing and Medford, NJ. Ed was a former Rotary Club member, enjoyed watching football and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joan Davis (nee Pilawsky); his two sons, Francis and Shawn Davis; his brother and sister, Bernard Davis and Sandra Frey; his sister-in-law, Justine McCullough (Robert); his brother-in-law, Joseph Pilawsky (Ginger); two nieces, Heather and Jennifer; and his great nieces and nephew, Emily, Layla and Eddie. A Viewing will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 8:30-9:30AM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
