Carmen Milagros Velazquez, 75, of Browns Mills, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Carmen resided in NJ and Browns Mills since 1983. She was an active parishioner at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Browns Mills. Daughter of the late Lucas LaBoy Oppenheimer and Rosa Maria Quinones; wife of the late Juan Velazquez, Sr.; sister of the late, Baldomero, Carmelo, Eduardo, Luis, Lucas, Felix LaBoy, Rosa Valdez and Carmen Gomez; grandmother of the late, Gabrielle Noella Velazquez; she is survived by her son, Juan Velazquez, Jr.; her three daughters, Denice Bullock (Kevin), Patrice Velazquez, and Damaris Velazquez; four siblings, Maria Laboy, Vincent, Juan and Ana Oppenheimer; 7 grandchildren, Xsavier, Aaron, Kevin, Kayla, Kaden, Juliana and Noella; and 2 great grandchildren, Julian and Jaxson. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 10-11AM, at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Ave., Browns Mills, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, at 11:30AM, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. All arrangements are under the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, Browns Mills, NJ.
