Pedro Figueroa-Zayas

 Browns Mills – Pedro Figueroa-Zayas, 82, of Browns Mills passed away Monday, February 25th at Buttonwood Hospital in New Lisbon.  Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico August 1, 1925, he was a resident of Browns Mills for over 50 years.  He worked for the Central Issuing Facility at Fort Dix, retiring after over 25 years of service.  Son of the late Santiago Figueroa Vazquez & Maria Dolores Zayas;  he is survived by his wife, Porfiria (Ita) Melendez Zayas of Browns Mills;  three sons and a daughter-in-law, Edwin & Michelle Figueroa of Browns Mills, Pedro A. Figueroa of Puerto Rico, and Carlos Figueroa of Puerto Rico;  two daughters and a son-in-law, Marta Vega & Jose of Puerto Rico and Ivette Figueroa of Browns Mills;  grandchildren, Marisa and Matthew  Figueroa and many more;  several great grandchildren;  and a niece and a nephew.  A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, February 29th at 11AM at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills.  Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery, Juliustown Road, Pembertown Township.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 7-9PM and Friday from 10:00-10:30AM at Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills.
