Kay Frances Cruse

On a very quiet and peaceful Saturday, September 29, 2007, Almighty God, in his infinite wisdom gently closed the eyes of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother as well as a friend, Kay Frances Cruse, age 66, entered into her eternal rest in Mount Holly, NJ. Kay was born December 1, 1940 in Concord, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Marie Tobin Pryer and Ben Pryer; sister of the late Alise Pryer Robinson, Mary “Sissy” Franklin; brother Rayford Pryer. Those also preceding her in death that were near and dear to her heart, Annie Tobin Sumlin, Essie Pryer, Edna Mason, Nell Tobin.

She leaves to cherish warm and loving memories, husband for 45 years, Thomas R. Cruse of Browns Mills, NJ; three sons, Dennis Cruse of Browns Mills, NJ, Jeffrey Cruse and his spouse Crystal of Philadelphia, Pa, and Antione Cruse of Philadelphia, Pa.; a daughter Danielle Cruse of Browns Mills, NJ; two sisters Nancy Pryer Askins of Philadelphia, Pa., and Valerie Pryer Williams of Newark, Delaware; three brothers Henry Pryer, Browns Mills, NJ and Kenny Pryer and Gary Pryer both of Philadelphia, Pa.; seven grandchildren, La’Shea, La’Vada, Debrina, Tabias, Antionette, Kayla, and Christen; two great grandchildren, Shaniyah, amd Dontae; two brother in laws, Robert William and Fred Askin; two sister in laws Betty Pryer, and Agnes Pryer. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many of her special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 5th, 2007 at 11am from the Fort Dix Main Chapel New Jersey Avenue, Fort Dix, NJ. Burial will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be Friday from 9am until the time of the service at the Fort Dix Chapel.
