Joseph W. Gifford

Southampton – Joseph W. Gifford, 87, of Southampton was called home to be with the Lord on Friday at  Samaritan Hospice at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly.  Born in Southampton, he was a lifelong resident.  He was a Blueberry Farmer at a family farm in Southampton.  Son of the late George W. & Matilda Anderson Gifford and brother of the late Emma Warren, Mary McElven, Clara Carpenter, and Norman Gifford;  he is survived by two sisters, Laura Bush of Pemberton and Lydia Stanikmas of Leister, MA;  and several nieces & nephews.  Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 6. 2006 at 10AM at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills.  Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pemberton Borough.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 9AM until the time of service at the funeral home.  (www.moorefuneralhome.com)
