Robert E. Crocker “Big Pop”

Pemberton Twp. – Robert E. Crocker “Big Pop”, 75, of Browns Mills died Sunday at home. Born in Newport News, Virginia, he was a resident of Browns Mills since 1967. He served in the US Army, retiring after 20 years of service as a staff sergeant. He served one tour in Vietnam with the 1st Cavalry Division. Son of the late Manson & Florine Hawkins Crocker and grandfather of the late John C. McKinney; he is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert L. Crocker of Springfield, VA, Gene Crocker of Browns Mills, and Rodney & Sharon Crocker of Lumberton; a daughter, Christine Crocker of Hamilton; ten grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Steven, Everett, Katrina, Rodney, William, Dawn, Rachel, and Aaron; his former wife, Helen D. Crocker of Pemberton and his Companion, Maebelle Crowder of Browns Mills. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 17th at 1PM at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills. Burial will follow at the B.G.W.C.D. Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Visitation will be Friday from 12PM until the time of service at the funeral home. (www.moorefuneralhome.com)
