Doris E. Boone

 Browns Mills – Doris E. Boone, 76, passed away Tuesday at home with her family by her side.  She has lived in Browns Mills since 1948. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved to entertain friends and family, always welcoming everyone into their home. She enjoyed spending time in Potter County, PA, ice-skating, knitting and crocheting.  Doris also enjoyed birds, flowers, and an occasional trip to Atlantic City, but her greatest joy was taking care of her family.

Predeceased by a brother and sister, Donald Thomas and Rose Roberts, and by two sons Herbert L. and Richard G. Boone; she will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Herbert L. Boone, two sons and a daughter and their spouses, Robert W. Boone and Barb of Browns Mills, Bruce G. Boone and Jayne of Westampton, Doris E. Boone-Carney and Kevin of Browns Mills; a brother, Herbert Lindley; grandchildren Heather, Jessica, Dustin, Amanda; a daughter-in-law Frances E. Hohl-Boone; and several nieces and nephews including Billy Roberts, Carolyn Lange, Beverly Roberts, Ronnie Roberts, and many close and special friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, where friends are invited to call from 9 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ.
