JESSE D. BADON

Browns Mills – Jesse D. Badon, 79, of Browns Mills, passed away on Tuesday, at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Hammond, LA, he was a resident of Browns Mills since 1961. He was in in the US Army from 1942-1945. He then served in the US Air Force from 1946-1973 and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. While serving his country Jesse received the Bronze & Silver OLC Medals. After retiring from the US Air Force, he was employed and retired from the Institute for Defense Analysis in Princeton as a Security Guard. He was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge in New Egypt and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was also a coach for Babe Ruth at McGuire Air Force Base. Son of the late John Paul & Jenny Nelson Badon. He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Ward Badon of Browns Mills; a son and special friend, James Badon & Vivian Smith of Browns Mills; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Virginia & Salvatore Todaro of Buffalo, NY, Mary Potter of Browns Mills, Anita Badon-Andujar of Croydon, PA, and Deborah & Louis Kwartin of Browns Mills; 13 Grandchildren; 16 Great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at 9:30am at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Burial will follow at the B.G.W.C.D. Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140 in his memory.
