James R. Anderson

Browns Mills – James R. Anderson, 81, of Browns Mills died Friday at home. Born in Pemberton, he was a lifetime resident of Browns Mills. He was a WWII veteran serving with the Army Air Corps. He was Weapons Inspector for the United States Government at Fort Dix, retiring in 1978. He was also a retired Blueberry Farmer. He was a past Chief of the Browns Mills Fire Company and the Treasurer for 30 years. Son of the late Ralph and Marie Birdsell Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Anderson of Browns Mills; a son & daughter-in-law, James & Linda Anderson of Browns Mills; two daughters & a son-in-law, Linda & Charles Hilliard of Browns Mills and Nancy Rooney of Stratford, CT; a sister, Eleanor Anderson of Chatsworth; five grandchildren, Michelle, James, Jeffrey, Melissa, and Marcie; two great grandchildren, Alexis & Nicholas; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral Service will be held 11AM Tuesday at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills. Burial will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Trenton.
