Browns Mills – Sylvia R. Barnes, 51, of Browns Mills died Friday at home. Born in Gelnhausen, Germany, she lived in Browns Mills for 31 years. She worked in housekeeping for the Buttonwood Hospital in Pemberton Township for the past 13 years. Prior to Buttonwood Hospital she worked at Walson Hospital on Fort Dix. Daughter of the late Lawrence & Auguste Wagner Connor. She is survived by her son & his fiancée, Michael Barnes & Keyifa George of Browns Mills; a brother, Wolfgang Grassmann of Germany; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Julia Nunez of Browns Mills, and Erna & Jimmie Hawkins of Browns Mills; two grandchildren, Anthony & Jahmir; and several nieces & nephews, Funeral service will be conducted 6PM Wednesday at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills.
