Lucille V. Slade-Davis Browns Mills – Lucille V. Slade-Davis, 74, of Browns Mills passed away Thursday, May 15th at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Warwick County, VA, she was a resident of Browns Mills since 1974. She was a homemaker. Daughter of the late William H., Sr. & Florence Slade; and wife of the late Lawrence T. Davis; she is survived by her son, Terence Davis of Columbus, OH; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Marguerite & Jeffrey Dunbar of Virginia Beach, VA, Regina Oakman of Hampton, VA, Norita & Kevin Northington of Memphis, TN, and Samantha Davis-Swint of Browns Mills & Norman Conquest of Lorton, VA; daughter-in-law, Cathy Davis of Columbus, OH; 2 brother-in-laws of VA and 1 of TX; 2 Special Sons of Hampton, VA; three brothers & two sisters-in-law, Albert & Linda Slade of Hampton, VA, William H. Slade, Jr. of Washington, DC, and Linwood & Blendell Slade of Chatham, VA; two sisters & a brother-in-law, Barbara Wynder of Hampton, VA and Eva Louise & Vernon L. Hodge, Sr. of Browns Mills; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20th from 12PM to 2PM at Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ. The Funeral will be held at Nicholson & Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA on May 23rd at 1pm. |
