Robert V. Pinkerton Browns Mills Robert V. Pinkerton, 80, of Browns Mills passed away Tuesday, April 15th at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Thorofare, NJ he was a longtime resident of Eastampton before moving to Browns Mills in 1989. He was a US Navy & a US Air Force veteran. He was employed as a shift supervisor for Hercules Powder Company for 25years before becoming a boiler operator at McGuire Air Force Base. Robert was a member of the Air Force Association, the VFW in Mount Holly and the American Legion. Son of the late Floyd & Ruth Crouthamel Pinkerton; and brother of the late Albert, Lee, Ralph, Chester and Ethel. He is survived by his wife, Elvera Malato Pinkerton of Browns Mills; two sons & daughters-in-law, Wayne & Alice Pinkerton of Pemberton and Glenn & Sandy Pinkerton of Southampton; three daughters, Sharren Pinkerton of Eastampton, Linda Lowe of Jackson Twp., and Lori Pinkerton of Waynesboro, VA; a step-daughter and her husband, Dennise & Guy Geiger of New Egypt; a brother & sister-in-law, Frank & Dorothy Pinkerton of Front Royal, VA; three sisters, Shirley Bakely of Whiting, Marie Tynan of Willingboro, and Edith Williams of Painesville, OH; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 21st at 11AM at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills. Burial will follow at the B.G.W.C.D. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Visitation will be Sunday, April 20th from 2-4PM at the funeral home.
